The Virginia Lady Eagles have been offered the opportunity to volunteer their time. We will be helping the Virginia Wesleyan softball team run their Beach Blast softball tournament on Friday March 2 and Saturday March 3, by collecting gate fees and selling t-shirts. Please contact your team mom for details.

On February 4th, the Virginia Lady Eagles volunteered at the local Foodbank. All told, the volunteers sorted 8955lbs of food, which will feed about 4000 families. Our group learned about the different programs the Foodbank supports and were given a tour of the warehouse. The Virginia Lady Eagles are proud of all the volunteers who worked as a team, displaying respect and professionalism in accomplishing the task the Foodbank asked us to do. A huge Thank You to all who participated.

We are well into the New Year! Our players are working hard in winter conditioning and looking forward to the 2012 Spring Season!
The Virginia Lady Eagles players have been doing great things outside of softball practice! Many of our players spent Saturday, February 4th at the local food bank volunteering and helping our community.
We will be adding several items to our VLE merchandise. To get started, we will be offering a blue zip-up track style jacket and a blue pull-over style jacket. Both of these will have the VLE logo and player number embroidered on them. The cost of either style jacket will be $40 (including embroidery). Pictures of both will be posted on the main web page shortly.

Welcome to the Virginia Lady Eagles!
We are a long established softball organization with a history of helping young ladies achieve their goals of playing the game at a higher level. The Virginia Lady Eagles are led by experienced team managers who are successful in developing the necessary playing skills and producing competitive softball teams.
The Virginia Lady Eagles Board of Directors is continually looking for ways to improve our programs while expanding the benefits provided to our players. The off-season training academy makes use of indoor training facilities and involves all age groups and coaching staffs. The VLE scholarship program grants awards to all of our qualifying 18U players that continue their pursuit of higher education. Recognizing that community service can be both personally rewarding and bring balance to our players’ perspectives, the organization’s Community Outreach program provides opportunities to volunteer for worthy causes.
While the focus of our efforts...
